Duncan Cunningham

I am a ceaseless adventurer: I left my native Scotland in the mid 1970s to a life on the other side of the planet – in New Zealand. As a naturalist since childhood, I’m fascinated with life and living systems and how humans are connected with it.

My photography is mostly about drawing attention to everyday sights, things most people walk or drive past and scarcely notice in their distracted hurry to be somewhere else. Capturing and presenting the way the light falls – that’s the fun!
