Joe Was Playing…
Joe was playing in the sun
He was having lots of fun
Joe come inside, here comes the rain,
play inside till it stops again
I know, I will play ball, he thought
Watch the new dishes, I’ve just bought!
His mummy shouted, go away,
find a safer game to play !
I know, said Joe, I’ll do some cutting
Look at that mess, said mummy tutting
Play a game that’s nice and tidy
You know your grandma comes on Friday
I’ll watch TV, oh good cartoon
Joseph your grandma will be here soon
Too much TV is not good for you
Go and find something else to do
Oh well, he thought, that’s enough of that
I think I’ll be an acrobat
Stop that bouncing on the bed!
Be careful or you’ll bump your head
Joe thought, I know I’ll play at shop
That’s a game my mummy won’t stop
I’ve never seen such a mess before!
Look at my food out on the floor
The rain has stopped the sun is shining
Go outside, while I do the ironing
Joe ran outside free to play
Wasn’t that a funny day !!

I wrote this many years ago for my son Joe.
Like all children Joe was bored when it started to rain and his mummy had called him inside. He tried to play inside but kept getting into trouble. Luckily the sun came out and he could go and play outside again.
I am a keen amateur photographer and would always welcome feedback.
At present I use a Nikon D300 and a Panasonic Lumix but some older images have been taken with various Fuji cameras.

Is this from the days when you were a little boy? I was once. LOL
I wrote this for my little boy, Joe to cheer him up when he spent alot of time in hospital after getting knocked over by a car just outside our house – He used to love it !!! XX
