What an appealing shot, Sheila, with converging lines and the wonderful dynamic range. Love the colors you captured. Perhaps you’re standing on a bridge? Did you carry a tripod with you to get that 1/20 second exposure? Beautiful!

Thank you very much Jan. I do carry a tripod but normally don’t get around to using it !! Lazy!! My partner tells me that I didn’t use it here – he carries it !

This is my favorite. Everything comes together in this shot, literally. Perspective, fabulous, fabulous color, contrasting textiles, and a story: the well appointed gondola, repleat with persian rug, and elegant love seat sharing a canal with someone’s laundry. Favorited!
