Pete Smith All American 1930s by

Oil on Canvas. I painted this about 30 years ago of Pete Smith.. He was All American at Oklahoma University. If you are an Okie, 90 years old or older, or an Oklahoma Univesity Football history buff you may know who he is. Otherwise he was just a restaurant owner, had a cattle ranch (thus the cow), had 4 sons (thus the 4 oak trees) and was in World War 2, (thus the medal). He was a Cherokee Indian…Very nice person, I worked for him for a year.
