A perfectly albino ‘white’ Platax orbicularis ~ Orbicular Batfish sits on it’s side swimming against the current awaiting a preening by two bluestreak cleaner wrasse (Labroides dimidiatus) off the top of the Blue Water Wreck ~ South China Sea.

The genus name, “platax” was coined from the Greek term platys – meaning “flat”.
