Oil Painting by

Oil rigs far offshore have to bear the brunt of extreme weather and a very harsh environment…steel and saltwater don’t mix ~ sometimes giving rise to ‘rustic looking’ platforms…maintenance is of paramount importance due to physical and chemical weathering…the tarnished platform has a “raw and old fashioned look about it almost like ~ an oil painting!”
