Fran Kelly, a graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York City, has spent most of her life actively engaged in various art forms. For example she has designed pottery, weaving, painting and sculpture.
She has worked in oils, water colors and pastel. Her work has won recognition in the New York area. She has also taught art techniques in Adult Education programs. Her interest in capturing the world as she sees it led to her involvement in Photography for which she has won several awards.
Fran is currently working on collages made from
clippings (she calls them snippets) of various color printed images collected from a wide variety of sources.
Her computer graphics work are also helpful in developing ideas for art. She loves to write and in this category, her poetry reflects her deep sense of our world and our place in it.
All my sites are a work in progress.
