I am a self-taught photographer who like most photographers is always looking for that unique perspective or “special something” in an image. My work embraces and encompasses various styles from clean crisp well-defined images with an interesting and vital point of view to compelling composition and fresh simplicity.

Love the feel of this image…has a lot of movement in it even though it’s a still life. Also like the way the waters edge around the lilypad is bent by it…catches the light and puts a highlight all the way around it…adds alot of drama to the image…

  • Thanks Duane. It was an overcast morning so things were a bit flat….I had to adjust the curves in Photoshop to give the image a bit more drama.

Love the title, and such a great shot!

  • Thanks Wanda…one I cropped off the stem (icky stuff clinging to it which could not be cloned out)….it just named itself.
