There is a little state park sandwiched in between Bryce Canyon National Park and Glen Canyon National Monument in southern Utah ,USA that is the best of both without being known. This place is so unique and beautiful it is only because of its remote location that you have probably never heard the name, and a very “apt” name it is..Kodachrome Basin…It was named by the National Geographic Society in the late 1940’s because of the obvious splendid array of natural color and feature.. Enjoy the view…D.Taken with a Canon 7D..

How cool …DEE what a great place to be. The sky looks like rain and I love that little spot of light. No wind?? Was this an Indian place too?? It feels like a peace pipes, singing and happiness..Doc..

  • Thanks for stopping by Doc!..It was a Indian area before the “white man”… Wait till you see the “pipes”

What a great view you’ve caught Dennis. The colour is fantastic against that dark sky. The gap between those two formations gives it a great depth
