The winter sunsets in the high desert are a natural work of art..The sky seems to be almost painted on the surface of a deep blue canvas that is changing hues as time slides over the horizon. I believe it is the clear air and enormous length of the vista that makes these so special.. The sun seems to almost wait as it falls into the Pacific out beyond my view. You can almost hear the sun asking to look at its handiwork just one more time.I never tire of these beautiful original creations. Now I just have to remember to keep my camera close at hand.. ..DennisTaken from a hill outside of Silver Springs,Nevada,USA. looking toward Lake Tahoe..Featured “The Image Writing group”..Featured “Faraway friends” group..featured in "stunning Skyscapes "2-8-11Featured in “Nevada The Silver State” groupViewed 190 times as of 3-1-11favorited 24 times as of 3-1-11Camera is a Canon 7D,tripod mounted with a nd2 filter..
