Every day, in every corner of this little rock in space we call home, a event of celestial proportion occurs. The sun sets over the horizon. It is never the same and it never will be. It is a unique experience that each living organism on the surface can relate to.. It is special to each of us every day,and every day it shows us a new scene.. This has been going on for as long as the heavens have been here and will continue until the heavens decides to the contrary.I revel at all of this individuality and thank God for the ability to at least try and capture that ever changing scene for me to relive over and over.. To be able to share it with others is a gift that can not be described in mere words..A feeling of mutual sharing of the event..Sharing a little slice of your life experience with another.. A gift of light!..Excerpt from"the Epitaph of The Addicted Photographer"…Dennis

To photograph an image, is to learn that a gift can come back over and over and you have done this here, Dennis…… I love your narrative… it tells of your peace with nature…. from the soul…….such as the results of viewing this image….. an interlude of pause!!!

Ducilla, my friend we each have touch on the soul of creation in mind, body, and soul. You with the eye of love of sight.
I being ten years younger have a little catching up to do. At ten years old coming out west from the coal country of southern Illinois. going down to the beach it was a couple miles from where we settled. It was at sunset, I was a captive particle being trust into a forever relationship with this heavenly vision and stepped into the sea. I was drawn to both of these occurrences happening simultaneously. I became a avid lover of sun sets and the ocean for the last sixty years. Super delicious, and addictive. David

  • The world can show us her views and she can show us her emotions.. It is up to us to determine the difference and accept the gift that she offers.. Thanks for the visit my friend!..D.
