BUY ART. SUPPORT THE VICTIMS OF THE HAITI EARTHQUAKE.
From today (January 14th) until Feb 14th (1 month), I will donate HALF my profit from ANY SALE of my work on Redbubble. Take a look through my work. You can buy cards, various prints, framed prints, canvas, posters, and t-shirts just to name a few. The more you spend, the more I donate.
I will donate half of whatever Redbubble gives me for the sale to the American Red Cross’s Haiti Relief and Development Fund (http://american.redcross.org/site/PageServer?pa...).
The donation will be made February 15th unless there is an overwhelming response, in which I will donate regularly throughout this month timeframe. I will notify you all as donations are made.
Get buying, get art while helping the victims of the January 12th earthquake.
As I make sales, I will update this journal entry so you all can track the amount. I will also do screenshots when I make donations and I will post those (barring any confidential credit card or financial info). The webpage I provided above is the actual American Red Cross website I will make donations through.
Help me to help others. I would go and do my bit helping out, but as a graduating senior this year, it is just not possible, so I’m trying to use my skills as a photographer and artist to provide aide.

- 1/15/2010 – Sold 1 greeting card. Profit from sale: $0.67 – Donation from sale $0.34 (rounded up) – TOTAL DONATIONS AT $4.90
- 1/15/2010 – Sold 1 greeting card. Profit from sale: $0.67 – Donation from sale $0.34 (rounded up) – TOTAL DONATIONS AT $5.24
- 1/15/2010 – Sold 1 greeting card. Profit from sale: $0.67 – Donation from sale $0.34 (rounded up) – TOTAL DONATIONS AT $5.58

I feel like I need to do something. I wish I could physically be there, but that’s just not possible. So I’m going to do what I can. I already have 3-4 bags of old clothes & shoes I was going to be taking to Goodwill soon, so I think 1 or 2 are going to go to Haiti once I see where I need to take them for that. Already sold a large laminated print :-) Will be updating this post soon so it looks nicer. I have a much nicer blog entry on my website about my plans.
