This portrait is very special to me. It’s of one of my little twin boys (the baby) and my cousins’ eldest child (young man) Caden. Caden has Cystic Fibrosis and as such his lifespan will be greatly reduced compared to yours or mine, if a cure for this disease is not found.

Thank you larue. He is a wonderful young man with aspirations of becoming an architect, unfortunately he’s is not sure that he will live long enough to accomplish this dream. The saddest thing about my cousins family is that they have 2 sons with the same disease. I am so sorry to hear about your friends niece…such a tragedy that CF takes those so young.
