I read, write, take photos. Generally in that order, but sometimes my pic art takes over everything.

I can draw money out of the bank, but I can’t draw :):):) (not much, anyway) I can paint a house but I can’t paint a picture :):):) (I get bored painting houses. anyway:):)

I’m a halfway or more decent photographer. And I try to make up in creativity whatever I lack in skill.

It’s been a dream of mine for many long years to turn my photigraphs into art. Wuth digital photogtraphy and the digital imaging programs, I’m finally doing it.

Lately, I am experimenting with Corel Painter Essentials 4, Virtual Painter, Fractal Imaging and Art

I am a voracious reader of almost anything and I am mesmerised and fascinated by art in all its forms.

My writing is words that create pictures in the mind, my photography/art is images that create words in the mind, or words inside pictures if you like.

I love the ocean, it is my favourite subject, and I love to surf and swim.

My cam is an Olympus SP-565UZ and it has its faults, but it more than makes up for those with its power and versatility. I love it like my best friend. I also have an old film camera with a zoom lens like a cannon (can’t remember the make) which I take out of retirement every now and then.

My photographic/art interests are very, very wide ranging, but mostly, I love especially surrealism, sensuality, lush, strong colours and the human body. I love strong, bold colours together with strong lines and shapes.

I am not limited to those, sometimes I use very subtle shapes and colours and images.

Seascapes, (my absolute favourites) Landscapes, Portraits, Old and New Architecture, Experimental Photo/Computer Art and the Human Body are my favourite subjects.

I like to think of strong colours, lines and shapes as images of power, magnetically drawing the viewer into the world of the picture and exploring it.

I also have a passion for aeroplanes, flying, and anything to do with aviation.

If you sincerely like my art, favouritng a pic and just commenting with a word or two is great, but don’t do it just to be nice!

If you, again, sincerely feel strongly that I have something very special to show You, adding me to your watchlist is a very nice compliment. Only if you think I deserve it!

By the way, ALL my images are COPYRIGHT and you know the drill. You may not use them in any way, if you do, you’ll be in deep piles of poo!! So there!!
