I’m looking in to online / remote back up for my photos … so far of the ones I’ve looked at Acronis and Carbonite look decent.

Does, any one have any alternate recommendations?

PS. I’d prefer that the company charges Australian dollars if possible.

How many GB are you looking to store? Just thinking bandwidth used just uploading. Another alternative could be SlideShowPro Director Hosting – at today’s exchange rate it’d cost only $83 for 2 years, unlimited space plus you get a real cool product. Have a look or even try it for free for 14 days to see if you’ll like it.

Last count I had about 300 GB of photos.

I haven’t worked out if I will back up everything yet, or buy another disk for $100 back everything up to it then take it to work or a friends place.

Just trying to figure out what is viable.

I’d prefer it to be as redundant as possible.

With my current set up everything is backed up to my NAS at home, but I think the extra added security of remote back up might be a good idea … well as long as it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg!
