Face-to-Face with a Ferrel Hog by

One of those chance encounters whereas thankfully there was a small body of water between us, as Ferrel Hogs can sometimes be very aggressive. This big male gave me the “Once-Over” for a good 30 seconds before bolting into the the high grass.

I am one who walks along a different path……but would have it no other way.

Wow! Lucky you that he didn’t want to get wet! :)) They really can be very aggressive. Be careful out there!! Great shot! What a mess he is! Maybe he does like to get wet! LOL

  • You got that right Ginny! Whatever the reason, I am glad. – Dennis

Great shot Dennis, I would want to be near a strong tree or some place I could get out of his way, they are scary dangerous!!

  • I hear you Marvin, I was definitely looking for a escape route should he have made a more aggressive approach. – Dennis
