As I have now entered into my 44 year of life, I have come to a conclusion that wildlife photography as a profession is something of which I should have been pursuing 25 years ago. Joining Redbubble has reinvigorated my passion for photography, and today marks the day whereas I am committed to making a change in my life toward making this happen.
I have never aggressively pursued selling my work, nor publishing it for profit; hence working on this gap is first and foremost to improve upon if I am to be successful at this.
I ask upon all of my redbubble friends and colleagues who have so very much inspired me with their work and kind words for any advice and or information that you would share with me that would help me along.
Kind Regards,
Dennis Stewart (aka Natures Realm:)

Good Luck Dennis. Did you read what red bubble sent out? It might help you get started. If you have not let me know and I will bubble it to you. Your work is awesome and I think you will do well.

Good luck Dennis.
From my own experience, I have very few web-based sales. I do better with a couple of galleries—I am a member of a co-op gallery, and on the board of an art guild gallery; they make a few sales, nothing to make me rich or famous. I usually get two months every year or two at a local restaurant popular with the tourists. That does very well for me. I am on the mailing “want list” of a couple out-door and wildlife related magazines. That is good for a few sales. Writing articles and supplying pictures for magazines works well too. The first article I ever wrote was published by Montana Magazine, with my wild horse picture used inside front cover. Hope some of these ideas work for you.

good luck for sure Dennis,,,,,,,,,,,,i’m thinking you may have to use many venues to get the work exposed but i’m no expert in this category , need to do some serious thinking too

Hi Dennis, I’ve been working full time in the arts since 2001 and can tell you that the internet is NOT the best place to start. People want to see your work in person. If you can set up a solo show of your work or if that isn’t possible, join in with other artists in your area and do a group show. Get your name and work out there. It’s a lot of work, but SO MUCH FUN! :)
Dennis Stewart:
thank you very much for teh feedback and advice.-Dennis

Hi Dennis, I think what Sharon says is the way to go mate, you have the love & commitment for the art, you have the eye, the equipment, so go for it mate, believe in yourself & go get it Dennis. Remember this ….. if you don’t have a go ….. you’ll never ever know. Good luck with it all mate & cheers, Eric from down under…

www.vistaprint.com. You can get business cards, magnets, pens, postcards, and tons of other marketing stuff. A lot of stuff you can get for free if you’re not picky about design. You can get all of your stuff matching to look more professional if you want. You also can set up a website through them.
Good luck!

thank you so much for your insight into this. I will check them out:) -Dennis
