Starring Daniel Sponiar as himself…

Daniel’s passion for photography was sparked at the age of thirteen when he was given an old Nikkormat SLR and began experimenting with different kinds of film.



Destined for a creative existence, he began working as an assistant and retoucher for some of Sydney’s top editorial photographers, portrait photographers, commercial photographers and advertising photographers. Also spending his earlier years working around Australia and Internationally as a professional jazz musician gave Daniel access to subject matter not easy to come by.



Now based in Sydney, between editorial and commercial assignments working for many high profile clients, from the Sydney Opera House to the Australian Defence Force, Daniel makes time to pursue his personal projects. He has exhibited at Gaffa, Grantpirrie Gallery, and the Australian Centre for Photography, as well as in artist-run initiatives such as International Noise.
