you’ve come in the right way david, yes very important as respect is our main thrust for cultural healing. This is exactly the path I’m taking. not interested in Global homogenisation of art. We lose a sense of self for some “greater” growth. I don’t think so. we have so much history here in Oz that we can spring board off and deepen our insight to our Celtic heritage. That’s my angle. Can’t wait to see your painting. There is still a lot of racism here, I found. Quite shocking.
we are living on aborginal land racism is scary, i try my best to listen to people no matter what or were they come from my feeling is that i connect with the celtic thing, ireland is such a magic place, am looking forward to going and just sitting sketching, painting. have learnt the hard way to slow myself down and just to listen and observe am into people peace and love keep the faith david

Nice I like the dreamlike quality this has but at the same time he looks heavy. Heavy in emotion and thought and the shading of lights and darks again are amazing you have a great ability to work with the mediums.
i feel that i acnt show the full painting as the aborginal man has not seen the painting, he plays guitar in a shopping strip with his son and has an amaz. voice and to look at them they are just buskers but they travel all over the world playing, so does not pay to be judging book by cover. one of my best works to date try for a natural but raw quality thankd for the comment it means alot keeping me sane.
