sorry i’ll just explain that this is only part of the painting as i want big al to see the painting first, just want to rspect the subject artist thing and al being aborginal and consider we are on their land as it were want his blessing hoping he likes it, so once he has seen the painting will put the whole work am very please with final artwork. i use only oils and use a cloth to rub back the paint to get a textured effect.
thank you for your comment so far and will post it up in its final form.
    cheers

you’ve come in the right way david, yes very important as respect is our main thrust for cultural healing. This is exactly the path I’m taking. not interested in Global homogenisation of art. We lose a sense of self for some “greater” growth. I don’t think so. we have so much history here in Oz that we can spring board off and deepen our insight to our Celtic heritage. That’s my angle. Can’t wait to see your painting. There is still a lot of racism here, I found. Quite shocking.

we are living on aborginal land
racism is scary, i try my best to listen to people no matter what or were they come from
my feeling is that i connect with the celtic thing, ireland is such a magic place,
am looking forward to going and just sitting sketching, painting.
have learnt the hard way to slow myself down and just to listen and observe am into people
    peace and love
    keep the faith
