Innerleithen, UNITED KINGDOM

Retired teacher and football fanatic, originally from Ayr on the west coast of Scotland but have lived and worked in the Scottish Borders for more than twenty years.

Can’t remember when I got my first camera (it was a Kodak Instamatic) but have been carrying a camera for as long as I can remember. Bought my first SLR when I left school and started working – a Russian built Zenit B. Went through several of those (sturdy and cheap to replace) until I could afford to buy a Pentax. My Pentax went everywhere with me until I discovered digital about five years ago. What a revelation! My collection of images has exploded and I have rediscovered my love for photography – mainly sport and wildlife but I’m learning so much from others that I’m aiming to improve my landscapes and portraits.

Just recently discovered Red Bubble and I’m hooked.

After many years of following my home town football club I am now proud to be their (unpaid) match day photographer. See my weekly football photos here
