Tilwara Ghat is located in Jabalpur, on the banks of the Narmada River. Tilwara Ghat was one among the several places were Mahatma Gandhi’s ashes were immersed. It was the venue of the open session of the Tripuri Congress held in 1939. An old Mahadev (Tilwadeshwar) temple is located here.

The nearby tourist attractions include the 12th century Mala Devi Mandir, Pisan Hari Jain Temples, Pariyat Tank, Bargi Dam, Lamheta Ghat and Roopnath Lingam -dedicated to Shiva.

Tilwara Ghat is about 12 km away from Jabalpur Railway Station.
