Massacred by men with hearts that are dead

innocent beings bashed in their heads.
their broken bodies turn the ice red.
massacred by men with hearts that are dead.

don’t be blind to this horrific bleeding.
allow compassion to touch your being.
use consumer power — we are pleading:

Boycott Canadian Seafood NOW!

    Oh crap!
I just realized the photo is an HSUS piece, which I can’t use in the collage. All material must be original because it’s going to be available for sale and to use this would be a copyright violation. :(

  • dropSoul replied

I’ll look around for copyright free images.

That generally doesn’t work either. 99% of the time those images are for website use only and not for materials that can be purchased. My recommendation is that you draw something on your own or see if another RB artist will let you use one of their images, which you could post as a collaboration.

Let me know if you need help with that. :)

Fair use for non-profit (you’re donating the proceeds) is an exception and I belive, like Peta, HSUS does not copyright their images. PETA doesn’t.

You’ll get no argument from me ~ just make sure it’s okay to use. :)

Powerful image and words. Something needs to be done to protect these seals.

Great publicity work for a good cause. Have you looked into the plight of the ribbon seal, a beautiful animal from the Bering Sea, which the Bush Administration is refusing to process an Endangered Species Act petition for? There aren’t many good photos of the animal online, but what you’ll see will astonish you.
