Taken from a mountain locally known as “The Target” just behind my village of Cwmparc. (It’s nicknamed The Target because so many people take their rifles up there!)
This shot overlooks Treherbert. Just on the left you can see the peak of Pen Pych, and to the right of the photo you can see a long road along the side of the Rhigos mountain. I had to drive over this every day to get to my high school.
This is one of my favourite spots to come and sit. When I was younger I used to come here with my brother and cousins to pick wimberry’s. Then our gran would make the best wimberry pie out of them!! Mmmm…
This does look like a beautiful place to sit and hide and ponder! The text gives it extra life. Wales has so many beautiful places, a wonderful part of the world.
