FILL the VOID

This is a photo of my best friend taken in Saundersfoot, West Wales during my first year at University. It’s quite a nostalgic picture for me…time goes too fast, things change, we change…

Beautiful nostalgic image enhanced by the soft sepia tones. You captured a timeless image that charts an important time in your life, something to reflect upon at different stages of your life. This is one of those images that is so appealing with great expanse of space and a timeless impact. This is the image that important memories are made of
that fill the void with emotional substance. I think the soft focus adds to the intimacy of this gentle and tender image.

  • drjones replied

Julie, thank you so much for your comment- you have illustrated in words my exact emotions attached to this image. Right now it is even more meaningful to me- we have just graduated and moved out of our house which we shared. It’s so upsetting but uplifting and joyful at the same time. Thanks again. That meant a lot to me :)

I just received your lovely comment. I want you to know that I featured this image in the healing journey so check it out. There also is a very touching story about a boy named Daniel who suffers from a physical disability and is committed to doing something about endangered animals. I know you will love the story that Steve posted.

  • drjones replied

Hi again Julie! Thank you for featuring this piece- i feel honoured considering it was featured alongside the likes of Daniel Clarke- that little boy is a wonderful inspiration. (Please see my comment under his image). Thank you again!!
