Graffiti Tree
I have several photographs of tree graffiti or what I have labeled contemporary hieroglyphics that were often seen in caves. I choose trees that have an array of diverse imagery and symbols so viewers can project their unique perception of what they see in this collective art form. This is one in a series of many that i have photographed of graffiti trees and I am always interested in your perceptions of these inscriptions. Several characters can appear in one glyph that is a visual presentation on various surfaces like walls, stone, and trees where people inscribe symbolic, written and visual content to brand, illustrate, entertain or inform.

This is a really well composed shot. I don’t feel too sorry for the tree – It is more like tatooing
