Samoan Tapa Faux Koa Wood Hawaiian Surfboard by

Ancient Samoan tapas are the inspiration for these primitive tapa designs used in the Polynesian & Hawaiian cultures. These types of designs were often printed on aloha shirts & pareaus for traditional hula dancers. There are three different pattern – colorways. Each case has different distressed tapa designs applied to a unique wood; bamboo, diamonds, flowers, honu turtles and masks are just some of the elements used.
