I’m often asked to explain the gold swirls… they represent the burning embers that are carried in the wind generated by the fire.

Thank you very much Deb. I wanted to capture the impending approach of the fire, the heat, the blowing embers… I didn’t like it that much when I finished it, but has grown on me : )
