This image is of the lighthouse on Monhegan Island off the coast of Maine. This island has electricity for three months a year, during a tour season. there was a huge set of solo panels right side a lighthouse at lease hath its height. In a whole collection of radio towers going out of the top of the building. This is a two shot horizontal panorama, Assembled in Photoshop. When the merger was completed I removed all of the electronics and tenors from the image. So it look like the image could have been shot over 100 years ago.
There are very few vehicles allowed on the island, and the island is full of roads and walking paths which are very poorly marked. So frequently when you’re on the island, you’re looking at two path and wondering where you will end up when you pick one. Then there’s always the metaphor for life.
