I have been shooting a lot of images recently from a kayak, and this is one of them. This is taken in New Harbor ME. I was attracted to the intensity of the yellow against the blue, and in intricacy of the shadow.

I find I am likewsie attracted by the colors, as well as the stillness, yet the rippling reflection. Then, there’s the odd, orange snorkle??? This image is brilliant in color, but the true test is ALWAYS for me, as a mostly B&W darkroom artist, would a given image work in B&W – is the composition strong enough? YES YES YES
