Kate, Jus, Beck
Probably one of the oldest artworks I’ve got up here… done in my second year of uni. Just three of my mates. But this is uniquely one of only 3 actual oil paintings I’ve ever done, on masonite. I always found oils difficult and still do, hence the fussy detail and lack of confidence with the medium. But I intend to have another go this year, maybe on a larger canvas.

The personalities of these girls come through well here Garth. Yes, you should perserve with the oils with results like this…I too need to give them a go. It’s the drying time thing and fumes that put me off, blending is a dream.
