ACEO - Collage & texture
Many of my ACEO’s (Artist Cards) feature texture and/or collage.
This is often not shown to its best advantage in a straight on picture and so I have taken a series of photgraphs with the specific aim of showing textures and mixed media in my work.

VERY COOL! And while these uploads are magnified and taken with great effort to get the texture reveal, I bet these are many times more appealing live, simply because the screen is flat and that 3rd dimesnsion is only appreciated up close and personal. At least that’s true for my trompe l’oiel mural art…. well… all of it reall.

Yeh it is hard to put across the depth of texture in some of my pieces.. :)
