30 Knot Sou-Easters were pushing the cloud band towards my location and the rain arrived just before Sunset. Had to pack up and get wet. Lucky my LowePro bag is waterproof.

Sometimes I take pretty pictures.
great shot drec, wish the rain would arrive here!@ not for 3 months solid just a decent shower now and then!!
Thanks Jenny, it’s been rather dry down here lately and my rain-water tank is almost empty. Hopefully not a repeat of last years wet but you do live near the Giant Gum Boot in the Tropics.

Great shot mate! The dark sky, sparkling city, and greenish sea look great together!
Thanks Nick, not a lot of Sun got through onto the buildings today. Next time.
Fantastic atmosphere you’ve captured, great image!!
Thanks Jonathan, I’m yet to shoot here at Sunrise so might have to try that one day for something different.
Thank you Linda for the Feature
Thank you Martina.
Amazing capture D
Wonderful image Drek and I love the time of day you chose to capture it with those wonderful heavy clouds hovering overhead.
Thanks Joy, I was hoping for a little sun to shine through and turn the sky a different colour. As you can tell by the buildings reflections only the smallest bit got through.
An unusual sky..beautiful!
Thanks, it’s a Heavy Band of cloud being pushed onto the Coast by 30 knot Sou-Easter’s. I could here the rain coming across the river it was that heavy.
Great shot pays to have a good camera bag certainly been blowing a gale here inland.
Thanks. The front Pocket section had water sitting in the bottom and all items were drenched. First time in ages I’ve actually sealed up the water tight compartment of my bag and it does work well. One day I’ll test the floating Camera Bag theory(without equipment first time)
looks other-worldly – very cool!
