Adam’s Pet. He keeps the strange ones like Funnel Webs and Tarantula Spiders, Desert and Rainforest Scorpions and now has two Bredli python Hatchlings.
This is the little girl and she’s the more placid of the two. I’ll wait until they’ve fully settled in their move and will keep playing with these snakes. Need some Black Perspex for a cool reflective shot I think, maybe even inside a Light Tent……….

I had to get close as I had Extension Tubes on plus my 90mm Macro Lens – it can be hard to focus at times with extension tubes and I’m thinking, ‘Is she still a little bit away?’

One day I’ll be brave and play Photography with the Funnel Web without the lid on. Was going to last night but it was kind of trying to climb up with the lid shut.
‘Likes’ this…..beautiful close-up there Derek! Also, you have nothing to worry about as Funnel-webs can’t climb smooth glass or plastic – I have her lid off regularly. Wouldn’t recommend handling them though…
