I watched as this build up rolled across the Southern end of the Gold Coast and passed harmlessly out to sea. I was kind of hoping for a decent lightning strike – maybe tomorrow. Might have been a bumpy ride coming in to land at Coolangatta Airport this afternoon.

Amazing. No I certainly wouldn’t like to have been in the air at that time.

  • Thank you. The airport’s about 1km inland from middle of the image. I was watching the flight paths change through out the afternoon.

  • Must have just missed you. I was speaking to the little Art Gallery down the road(Beach Kulture – I think) and have found a place to display some of my images. Now to print and frame…….
