Returned to this spot for a quick fish approaching sunset. With the cooler days of winter here the bream are starting to show up in large numbers. It’s not a bad view looking across the Nerang River towards the Hi-Rises of Surfers Paradise

I managed to stay dry today for the first time…
great view, and to catch fish as well, bonus..lol.. :)) k
It’s not to bad a view and is close to home. I still need to find another spot to break the angles up a bit.
Thank you, I’m trying to stay away from this location as I have a few of the similar view now.
You can get some interesting colours through the reflections/buildings. Everyday can be different, except today was the same as this.
Beautiful crisp image in those pastel tones, great reflections too
I was lucky(or unlucky) to get the same conditions 3 days running, started wanting a little cloud.
I LOVE THIS:)
I love the soft reflection and pastel tones – great shot .
magic shot dude!!!…did ya get any bream…
Cheers, just cause barra don’t travel this far south….. Been averaging 30cm to 35 cm for bream lately. On light gear it’s a bit of fun.
This is stunning, Derek. You will have to tell me where that spot is. I’ve been trying to get a view like this for ages.:)
There’s a stretch of sand from the Cheveron Island Bridge up to the Rowers Club – well on a low tide. Here is good for all tides and some days you’ll have the rowers to shoot to.
Thank you. I’ll check it out over the next few days on my days off. I’d better check the tides first. If I get washed away I’ll definitely be front page news.(haha)
