Similar composition to Blue just a different time of the day and time of the year with the sun’s light shifting to the north approaching winter. The Southport Spit. Gold Coast, Queensland.
Hey Drec, that sounds good! What time is early for you? Look forward to seeing the shots! :)
Saturday the moon is up @ 15:47 and Sunday @ 16:33. This was shot around 16:34 so Monday’s moonrise @ 17:24 will at least be after sunset. Now to work out where in the sky it is going to rise before the weekend.

Very nice composition and aesthetics here my friend!!
The reflection really sets it off, and helps to balance to image!!
Thanks mate, can’t stay away from this place.

Good lines and movement here, drec. A visually strong image.
Thank you. This area would be one of my most photographed places – I like the area and the dog loves it.

Wow Drec! Great shot, and those colours are stunning! And that reflection, with the break in between! Fave!
Thank you, if the weather permits I’d like to try and get the full moon with the jetty this weekend(though it’s rising rather early)

Brilliant shot, Derek. The light at that time of the day is gorgeous. I really must get out and about more. You’ve inspired me.:)
Thank you. You might have noticed I like reflections and water movement. The dogs prefer me shooting at The Spit.
