The Southport Pier
This area of land opposite Australia Fair has under gone a major facelift. Once this area was a large car park has been turned into an open area and mangroves are to be reintroduced around the foreshore. Stage one costs $32 million.
The Southport Pier belongs to the following groups:

Cheers. It’s pretty much straight out of the camera this, except for bit of a crop. This park will be worth a visit again for sure.

Thank you. The re-development of this area is a much needed improvement for Southport. 24 hour on-site security, open spaces and a couple of cool areas yet to be completed.

Thank you. Had to stop shooting due to rain and this area is one of my favourite spots to chase storms from now.
