Summer Storm
Taken last year on the 29/12/08, not many storms this year(only 1 really) .
Not sure on this one due to the amount of white surrounding the bolt, too much? Send to the scrap heap and wait for the next one? Looking across the Southport Broadwater towards the hi-rises of Main Beach.

I think the composition and detail here makes up for the whiteness on the bolt. Not distracting at all and probably adds to the overall strength of the image.

I wasn’t aware of the white on the bolt till you mentioned it but definitely don’t send to the scrap heap. Sometimes we can be too critical of our own stuff, aware of what we could do better. Let me just say that my first reaction to this pic was… brilliant…everything lovely and crisp and beautifully ‘exposed’.

OMG! Now this is an awesome catch! So many bolts all at once. Fantastic! I think the white around the largest bolt is just the glow from it being so hot. Amazing!
