After living in Cairns, the fishing down here is not the same. It gets me away from the house and the dog likes it.

Love the colour and the reflections are superb. Is lowtide more likely to be better for reflections? I went at hightide and the water was quite ripply, especially in the middle of the channel. Could be the current is stronger then, do you think? I am definitely not a water person.(haha):)

I think it really depends on the wind. If it’s a southerly/easterly combination I’d head round to the Rower’s Club if I want a smoother water surface. I’ve tried a couple of panoramic images from here but could never really get the water/ripples to align.
