Top Ten Winner “Objects in the house” challenge, Absolute Clarity Group
Runner Up Winner, Color Me Nothing Group

My mother was an accomplished pianist and violinist. Her artistic influence from infancy forward helped inspire and develop both my visual and musical creative development.

She passed away 10 December 2009 at the age of 93.

This Steinway piano was a fixture at home and a icon to my mother’s creativity throughout my life. It is appropriate this image realized on Day Two should reflect her influence in my development.

This image is dedicated to her lasting memory.

Image photographed with a Canon 5D MKII, ISO3200, handheld. Lens: Carl Zeiss Jena, DDR 80mm Biometar MC, at f2.8.

I began my love of photography when I picked up my mother’s huge 6X8 Kodak bellows camera and tripped the shutter and flashbulb at age three.

My commercial work is represented internationally.

When I am not working, I am riding motorcycles, playing jazz guitar and reveling in nature at my rural cottage in the Cohutta Wilderness Area of North Georgia.

La vie est bonne!
