The Prime Meridian
The exploration of optical glass and the genius of lens design.
The Prime Meridian is the meridian (line of longitude) at which the longitude is defined to be 0°.
In 2012 I will be enjoying my 40th year as a working photographer. Therefore I start 2012 and this series at zero.
To celebrate this anniversary I will be shooting an ongoing series with the following parameters.
All images will be captured using a Canon 5D MKII full-frame digital camera.
The optics employed will be only prime lenses. No zoom lenses will be employed.
Lenses from Leica, Carl Zeiss, Rollei, Nikon, Schneider and Pentax (6X7) will be the only lenses used. All technical data will be shared pertaining to the realization of each image.
One photo per day will be included in the series.
The Prime Meridian series will replace all current content on Redbubble.
