I found this orb weaver on one of my tomato plants, and placed a piece of dark green card behind the shot to hide the background clutter. It was taken in daylight, and the spider stayed relatively still for the entire time. They are a wonderful creature and I am lucky to have 6 or 7 putting up webs at any one time on my property.
