Thankyou very much. It was taken by panning the head around about 180 degrees, then stitched together.

wow, big project! very well done. so wide !!

It takes nothing to do it if you use the Panopro program. you just take photos using a tripod, and overlap each shot, then download the images and the program puts it all together for you.

I love how you make it sound so easy ha…..I did a search for panopro and there seem to be several by that name…which one do you use? love this shot

excellent exposure, very nice pano, do you use a pano head on your tripod?
Mark Jones in reply to Annette Blattman’s comment, 7 months ago
Thanks Annette. No I don’t use a pano head. I set my tripod up and basically rotate the head whilst looking through the view finder, and adjust the tripod until I get it level. Then I step through the turning the head bit again whilst looking through the view finder, part pressing the shutter button to check the exposure range at each shot I am going to take. Then after determining the correct setting, I take the shots. I download my shots to Panopro, which stitches them and it has not failed me yet.

I think if you search Panopro, and you will find version 3 is the latest, I think. It costs about $40 I think from memory. It my be European based?

Thanks Richard.
It is quite good how Panopro works to stitch the images. You do need to get them right first, but once that is done, the program does the rest.
