A smiling hallo to everybody!

I’m very pleased to be able to join this forum. My name’s Conny I was born and grew up in Hessigheim, Baden-Württemberg, Swabia, South Germany near Stuttgart in the vineyards beyond the rocks called Felsengarten.

I’m working as a waitress in a swabian restaurant in Berlin where i’ve been living for almost 13 years now. So as I moved from a very small village to a very big city (I love Berlin, it’s very special an exciting) sometimes I’m longing for “my” Hessigheim.

Hessigheim by the river “Neckar”: The landscape is so beautiful! To me It’s just pure natur especially the rocks “Felsengarten”. But as I grew up there there’s more to it … it’s where my soul belongs to … so the first thing I do when I get “home” is going out for a walk, just to experience the nature, see it by heart and it’s so full of energy, it just makes me feel good!

So why am I here?

I’ve seen a few of those marvellous landscape-photographs and everytime I look at those photos I’m just starting to dream … It feels like being there, walking across a desert, climbing up a mountain, flying across a beach, …

So I told myself, maybe some of these photographers would like to know what their photos cause.

So far … I hope it’ll be alright me being here only watching and enjoying.

A few months later …

Well, as everybody can see, by now I’m not only watching but doing some writing by myself.

I’ve never really thought about it before, but then I stumbled into the Red Writing Room and, being encouraged by Gretchens lovely exercises, I started to write. What shall I say: I love it! As well as I love reading the phenominal pieces of all the artists who found a home here!

So I still remain with a big bright smile
