So. This is England. We’re primarily a Christian country, but we seem to be keeling over to make room for a faith that wants too fucking much because their faith demands it. We must give workers extra breaks to pray over 9000 times a day, they want loud speakers on top of their mosques to call out so everyone around can pray at the right time, they want Christianity to not be taught in schools despite the fact that its RELIGIOUS EDUCATION (ALL RELIGIONS YOU FUCKING MORONS), they get pissy about people using their religion as an art ( http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/religion/3227971/Sony-Playstation-game-Little-Big-Planet-delayed-after-anti-Muslim-claims.html and that Nike shoe… OH NO, I CAN’T HAVE A BEAUTIFUL AND MYSTERIOUS SCRAWLING THAT MEANS SOMETHING GOOD AND REAL IN ART, IT HAS TO BE IN BLAND OLD FUCKING ENGLISH), if we attack them or deny them their religious freedom because they can’t conform to our society and ways when they came here FOR REFUGE, it’s racism.

I don’t blame the Asians, I blame their religion. I have nothing against Asian people. I’ve got some very good Asian buddies, but seriously it’s almost like some came over specifically to piss us off by imposing their ways to the extent where we have to change EVERYTHING WE PUT UP FOR OUR COMMUNITIES. It’s bullshit. We used to be like “oh sure, come over but this is the way we do things here”. We go to their country and be ourselves and we get bombed, blasted and beheaded by the crazier side of their faith. Here we bend over and stretch our asses to make room for their faiths over zealous dick.

I’m not saying that Christians aren’t to blame either. We’ve definitely come a long way from the so called ‘crusades’ and that, but we’re a bunch of pussies now. Islam went and complained that we’re teaching about Christian Christmas. IT’S THE SAME FUCKING THING, WE CELEBRATE THE BIRTH OF THE SAME FUCKING PERSON, the only difference is that C’s believe he’s the son of God and I’s believe he’s a prophet (the one I believe. He more than likely existed, but I see him as more of a Ghandi figure than a holy entity) but obviously their children can’t gain an understanding for the primary religion of their homeland. No, they might grow to like it and possibly (SHOCK FUCKING HORROR) make up their own minds about what to believe in.

Religion is meant to give insight and life. It’s meant to give us something to fall to in even the darkest of times. Wether Gods exist or not, it’s irrelevant if religion was taken as it should be. A free, multicultural celebration of the lives we lead and a beautiful journey into the human mind. Stories that inspire regardless of your faith, messages that uplift regardless of your hardships and something to hold us together, not tear us apart because it’s forced into our heads.

We can even blame human nature. Like we’ve always GOT to be right… If I ever get called on for using the Koran in a poetic manner, I’m gonna call on the motherfucker for even using my language to speak to me in a hateful manner.

I hope to hell that one day our minds will be open enough to accept that no-one is right. Not even me.

Yes the Little Big Planet re-release sparked this. Call me an over emotional dickwad if you want, but I’m a free human being that doesn’t need to be scared or smacked down for expressing myself. I feel sorry for Toumani Diabate. If anyone can translate the lyrics and tell me WHY it’s offensive, then please, do so. Then I’ll happily swallow my tongue on this one.
