The Power of Jazz
I’ve recently downloaded Mark Farina’s ‘Mushroom Jazz II’.
I’m still through my first listen of this mix, and I’m enjoying it thoroughly. I’ve always enjoyed Jazz, but never got into it. I have a few scats and random Jazz bashes…
... But I’m listening to the sort of Jazz that you can stand on top of a massive tower and look at a city in total solemn peace to…
The sort of Jazz that you listen to while you watch the chaos from the window of a train on your way to work, safely secluded in your dreams and thoughts…
The sort of Jazz that inspired the street culture of REAL hip-hop, that sits you down and makes you feel apart from the crowd…
The sort of Jazz that you can really enjoy a cigarette to, that dances with the smoke as your blues slowly melt into the smooth melodies…
The sort of Jazz that’s original, no matter how you bend and shape and manipulate the beat and harmonics, and will never die because of that…
ya dig?
Oh, and sorry for the lack of updates, my mind won’t let me draw anything worthwhile that isn’t a goddamn furry or new and fresh. Hopefully that’ll change soon.

Hmmm, well…I don’t think I have anything quite so great as what you describe….but

(once in a while, a game actually delivers on the music side more than the game side)
