I have always had a strong interest within photography. My father helped fuel this passion by giving me my first 35mm camera before I entered high school. This changed my life as I began taking pictures of everything from local sporting events to people. I went directly from high school into college at St. Francis University in Ft. Wayne, Indiana for commercial art. While attending college I sold numerous pieces of art ranging from drawings to photography within the student gallery.

From 1999 – Current: I have been shooting in digital and doing a lot of self portrait work, shooting with a model and GLBT events when I can. The self portrait work stems a lot, from permanent injuries, I have from a car accident, to my back , neck and hip resulting in arthritis & degenerating discs among other issues. This sometimes keeps me isolated from going to events, being social or working comfortably with someone else as a model & I end up being the subject. Photography has been an essential therapy for me both mentally and physically.

The highlights of my photography have been:

Hearing how my photographs have touched someone’s life.

Collaborations with other artists.

Being featured in various galleries and art contests in OH and being accepted by the American Juried Art Salon 2006 Fall Winter show.
