Control V.
Another from this series…. all my own images.
I started out selecting more than 60 ‘ok’ images from the hundreds I shot for this, then added the same 2 texture layers to each of these, though in the style and the composition as seemed to suit each image best.
From that point, I have gradually over the weeks been selecting those images that seem to have most potential, and further adding any more post-processing to that image as it individually seemed most effective…...

Thank you for your lovely comment J! It’s interesting, I almost find this image a little scary to look at…. yes, maybe the person there is (or could be) an angel, but I feel she is struggling out of a deep darkness yet…

This is terrific … love the way the light played with your hair. Though I do have to confess I thought you were standing beneath a shower or waterfall from the thumbnail … (an idea for a warmer day perhaps :-) )

Kallena how in the world did I miss this magnificent piece of art? Well, I don’t know but, glad I found it now. Thank you Wendy – I have just connected you with the person who started and ran the ‘wildlife appeal’ here on RB…. I bought my daughter’s birthday card this year from the wildlife appeal – the terrible plight of the animals after the fires was most distressing to her, and she wanted to do all she could to help… You inspire me too….

o – just remembered i bought not just a card for her, but a Tee as well…She’s a pretty cool girl, actually wanted money for her birthday that she could then donate for the animals… Yes, there are ‘causes’.... then things move on…. I hope that friendships though remain… :)))
