Wow again! Thank you so much Colleen :)))
Colleen Milburn
P.S. It’s everything but JUST a hand!!!!
DragonFlyer replied
Well – I’ve been feeling kind of ‘lost’ in the past days… and had exactly this image sitting in my mind of ‘where I was…’ so it kind of ‘flowed’ in it’s creation… K x

Jan Timmons
Powerful image, K, with both hope for help and despair present in that gesture. Even the word “hand” could be a verb or a noun. Strong emotional expression.
DragonFlyer replied
Thank you lots for this comment Jan – and I think you’re right about the contrasting emotions in the gesture… I’m very glad they can be ‘felt’. Thank you. K xx
Tracey Mac
Such an excellent image…..Love the textures….!!
DragonFlyer replied
thanks lots Tracey! It was funny how I straight off ‘knew’ which images of mine to ‘use’ for them – and I’m quite pleased with how they worked too :)))

Ingz
wow! so very powerful and extremely emotional xxxx my dear friend I do not believe that you are lost anymore xxxx
DragonFlyer replied
You know Ingrid – you’re right! I’ve found I usually can’t ‘make’ an image expressing a feeling or emotional state while I am still ‘in it’. But – I have some chance of expressing it visually what it was like afterwards :) K xx
Ingz
....it’s just excellent xxxx
DragonFlyer replied
Thank you so much again my friend :)))
Katrina Bodogh

hi carline! thank you so so much for your wonderful comment!!! I’m still so new to photography – especially anything to do with digital editing – that I’m not always too sure of myself or my work – it helps awesomely to read responses like yours… like maybe I am on the right kind of track with what I’m doing! Thank you very very much :)))

Instant favourite, I keep coming back to it…it just keeps pulling me in. Well done
DragonFlyer replied
Thank you so much! I have to admit this image just kind of ‘worked’... and it started the whole series of ‘hands’, and now ‘feet’ that I’m doing :)))
madworld
Its weird, I saw it awhile ago, then had to come back for another look and then another, in the end I just knew I had to favourite it, not many photos do that to me. I love hands though, maybe thats the reason!
DragonFlyer replied
Thank you! I’m very very honoured :)))

Wow. Very powerful. Lovely work!
DragonFlyer replied
Thank you very very much Matthew! This image is special to me – it is the one that pretty much marked the development of my work from ‘representational’ to much more ‘conceptual’... A BIG leap in both technique and ‘art’...
